My name is Jessica Joy. Though I find I go by several names, Jess if you are lazy, Jessi if you are friend, Jessa if you are a strange old woman, Jessthemess if your my dad, Jekah if your my cousin, Jessikaka if your Lindsay, Miss Jessi if you are a preschooler, Rachel if your on the drama team and Bennett if your my annoying English teacher…
I am almost 20 and still hanging around my hometown in South Jersey. Why? Because I have a scholarship for the local Community College, which isn’t too bad as far as Community Colleges go and because I have a 11 month old sister that I couldn’t leave if my life depended on it.
So I’m hanging around, trying to figure out what I want to do with my life while trying not to spend the small amount of money I make as a preschool aide and sales associate at DSW. Though I have to save most of it now-a-days because my parents are moving to Texas come June and I will be on my own…
Though I seem to jump in and out of obsessions, I pretty consistently like singing, reading, writing and photography. As well as fashion, horseback riding, drama and crafts. I sing in my church choir, act in their drama team, work in their nursery, as well as their preschool….I love my church.
I have 4 younger siblings ages 16, 11, 6, and11 months. Sometimes they are fun to be around, other times they aren’t. I also have a poodle named Raven, same goes for him.
I have some very good friends at work that I love to hang out with. Shout outs to Annie, Lori, Bekah, and Lindsay…as well as Sara, Kelly, and Ilana when they are home! I also have around 10 or so “surrogate mothers”, wonderful ladies that are great to talk to, fun to hang around and always watch out for me. And then there is “Jacob” the one surrogate father of the group…lol.
And of course I have my friend, Marcy Flanagan, affectionately known as Flan, who I couldn’t have survived this rollercoaster ride masquerading as life. And who, above all except my biological parents, is responsible for the person I am today, whether good or bad. I quite literally owe my life to her and love her obsessively.
So that’s a little about me…

Just a little flipbook to introduce myself to this community of people, an introduction in song
